  1. What type of connection will we require for ZumeIn?
    ZumeIn requires little bandwidth, it will still be usable on a GPRS connection, 3G+ is preferred.
  2. What Networks will ZumeIn require to operate on?
    ZumeIn doesn't require any specific telecommunications network it will work on all carriers Telsta, Vodaphone, Optus, 3 etc as long as you have data access.
  3. What type of devices are compatible with ZumeIn?
    All current Windows Mobile devices and blackberry devices are compatible with ZumeIn all that is required is a browser and data connection on your device. For a Nokia device you will require anything Symbian S60 + (most mid to high end nokias with a screen resolution of 320 X 240).
  4. What Operating systems are compatible with ZumeIn?
    ZumeIn will operate on:
    • Windows Mobile: 5.0, 6.0,6.1+
    • Symbian: S60 and greater.
    • Blackberry: anything after 2006.
  5. Can I access Zumein on my desktop?
    Zumein is not limited to only your mobile, no longer will you have to access remote desktop or a terminal server session to access yourcompany's ERP/CRM system. Zumein accesses directly through a secure web portal requiring a username/password combination.
  6. Is zumein secure?
    Yes Zumein is Password protected and we can also incorporate a SSL certificate requirement for added security.
  7. Can i choose what information is important to me and configured/tailored to my needs?
    ZumeIn will be customised to each clients needs. Our developers have a "vanilla" type product which we customise to your business needs.
  8. Can I restrict data that is displayed to staff?
    We can customise the display of each field. If you wish staff not to have access to certain sensitive information, that information will not be displayed.
  9. Can I restrict information via sales person?

  11. Can you display special pricing for specific clients?
    Yes we would need to look at your ERP system and then develop the ZumeIn module for special pricing. We have implemented special pricing for a number of clients.
  12. What do all these acronyms mean GSM 3G HSPDA etc?
    • GSM - Global Service for Mobiles. This is the world standard network protocol that is used by 2G networks.
    • GPRS - General Packet Radio Service. This is the network developed for mobile data on 2G networks. Speeds up to 56Kbps
    • HSDPA - High Speed Downlink Packet Access. This is the network developed for mobile data on 3G networks that allows for broadband speeds for the downloading of mobile data. Speeds up to 14.4Mbs
    • HSUPA - High Speed Uplink Packet Access. This is the network developed for mobile data on 3G network that allows for broadband speeds for the uploading of mobile data. Very soon we will drop the U out of this acronym and just have HSPA.
    • 3G/UMTS - Universal Mobile Telephony Service. This is the world standard network protocol that is used by networks around the world. Data speeds up to 384 Kbps.
